Welcome to the Year 6 transition page. We are all excited to see you back at school in September. We have a great year planned with some new exciting topics as well as some of our favourites, such as Fantastic Beasts.

We hope this page will provide you with some useful information ahead of the academic year and give you a glimpse into some of the learning that will take place in Year 6.

	Hello Juniper class, It was lovely seeing you all again on transition day and I can’t wait for September. Year 6 is such an exciting year with so many opportunities for you. From house captain elections, to production and the residential, there will be plenty of chances to see you all shine. One thing I am particularly looking forward to next year is our ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ topic. You will get the chance to be really creative and invent your own magical creature. It’s always so much fun! I hope you have a lovely summer holidays and I shall see you soon.
	Hello Hawthorn Class, I’m Miss Hedges and I will be your teacher in Year 6. Year 6 is such an exciting year with so many great things to look forward to: including Little Canada, performing a production and lots of amazing topics. I am really looking forward to getting to know you all better, I hope you all have a fantastic summer and I will see you in September!
