Chestnut Room
Our lovely Chestnut Room is a calming and relaxed space where provision is offered to support children to develop their social skills and emotional awareness. Children who have short-term or longer-term social, emotional and mental health difficulties are identified and offered specific support to help them understand their needs and build skills to support them to help themselves.
We hold our EBSA Breakfast club in the Chestnut room each morning for identified children, as well as our daily lunch provision where identified and high-need children sit and eat their lunch together with an adult who models good table manners and social interactions.
In the afternoons, the Chestnut room is used for a range of different social and emotional based interventions. Please see the SEMH provision tab for further information.
