Road Safety Officers
Hello! We are the Junior Road Safety Officers for Freegrounds Junior School. We work with Miss Cockram to promote road safety. We receive training around road safety and share our knowledge with others. We do our best to ensure that we consistently display our school’s learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code.

Our Role and Responsibilities
The Road Safety Officers set an example for others. They encourage other children to be safe when they are using roads and when they are travelling to and from school.
We believe our job is to:
- Be a positive role model for all children in school
- Encourage all pupils to be safe when using roads
- Identify ways to promote road safety
- Share our own ideas, and other pupils’ with adults
- Consistently display the best of our school's learning behaviours as well as our positive behaviour code
